Well, so far, the 2016 Presidential campaign has been a fruitful one for analysts, like me, who love high-class clichés.
The Democratic Party race betweenHillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders is a clear case of “a hedgehog and a fox.” The paired metaphors was made famous in modern times by the philosopher Isaiah Berlin, but he got it from an ancient Greek poet named Archilocus, who wrote: “a fox knows many things, but a hedgehog one important thing.” NBC News Political Correspondent Steve Handelsman has been following the primary campaigns.
