Rivka Galchen
Over the past decade, Oklahoma has gone from a couple of earthquakes a year, to a couple a day, and the magnitude of the quakes keeps going up. Almost all geologists agree on the cause: deeply buried deposit wells for waste waters from fracking for oil. Rivka Galchen documented the temblor epidemic and politically-enforced intellectual nullification that helps enable it. Hamm-fisted Harold is much involved.
